Raphael's eyes shifted around, looking for where Amy could be hiding. He spotted an opening. He desperately needed a smoke. "I wouldn't be counting on that." he said. His tranquilizer gun was ready at hand. All Raphael needed was to see Amy.

_{"Dammit..." Raphael muttered. He hated it when the 'freaks' did not exactly cooperate with him. Apparently, this one gave him a bit of a challenge. He shook his head. He went through the opening and looked around. There was a large storm drain, some of it still filled with water. Raphael smirked. He shot the tranquilizer at some random location and hoped that it would somehow reveal Amy.}

_{'Dammit. How can I-' he thought, but he answered his own question. "Is that all you can do? I thought mutants like you were supposed to have amazing powers." Raphael said. "Maybe you're just one of the weak and defenseless ones?" he asked. "Not that it matters anyway. You're a useless thing in the world. No one really wants you here, freak." he taunted. Raphael wondered how in the world he was supposed to get her into the storm drain. But he figured that he might just have to keep on taunting. 'I hope this works...' Raphael thought.}

_{Raphael hit the hard concrete. He got up slowly, breathing heavily. "Who said I was afraid?" Raphael asked. It seemed like he hit a nerve. He decided to keep on taunting her. It did make her mad. "That's what everybody says. In the end, they were one." he added. "You can't just deny the truth."}

_{"Well, I would shoot a tranquilizer at you, but we both know that, that won't work." Raphael said. "Different, huh? Aren't you being defensive." he added.}

<sup>"So you're fine being a social outcast, is that it?" Raphael asked. The barbed wire fence that surrounded the storm drain was too tough to break down by himself. He had to count on Amy trying to hit him again. "If you're so strong as you think you are, then actually try facing me here!" he yelled. It was very evident that he was getting frustrated and it only made matters worse that he really needed a smoke. He gritted his teeth as he tried his chances with lady luck.

He had ignored what she had said about him being useless to the hunters. He knew himself he wasn't useless. Compared to the other ones, he was better. He knew he was better. He took the thought of it out of his head. That didn't matter at the moment. What mattered now what that he needed to capture Amy. That was all. Raphael backed a bit more closer to the fence.
